Jerusalem After the Six Day
War (1967)
A few days after the end of the Six-Day War, on June
27, 1967, the Israeli Parliament passed a law that Israeli administration
and jurisdiction apply to all the territory of Jerusalem acquired in the
war. The following day, the Jerusalem municipal boundaries were extended
to include eastern Jerusalem, as well as Atarot and Neve Yaakov in the
north and Gilo in the south.
