I will bless those
who bless you, and
he who curses you, I

Sarai, his nephew
Lot, and all their

and they left,

Canaan. When they

Abram traveled
through the land as
far as the area of Shechem,
coming to the Plain
of Moreh.
The Canaanites were
then in the land.

Abram and said, 'I
will give this land
to your off-spring.'

on his way, moving
steadily toward the south.

for a while, since
the famine had grown
very severe in the
land.

kill me, allowing
you to live.

When Abram came to
Egypt, the Egyptians
saw that his
wife was
very beautiful.

Pharaoh summoned
Abram and said, 'How
could you do this to
me?
Why didn't you tell
me that she was your

Pharaoh put
men in charge of

sent him on his way
along with his wife
and all that was
